MARCH MADNESS!

"I'm with the band," became my mantra as I took part in the March Madness atmosphere at the Moda Center in Portland Oregon. My brother is a student at Gonzaga University, and has become a regular contributor to the basketball pep band. With his participation, I seized the opportunity to watch the beloved Bulldogs in one of their typical, dominant seasons. This was an opportunity to connect with my brother, who had never shared my affinity with athletics. He has become an avid fan, attending every game in the 2021-2022 season. While "The Kennel" has become mecca for the Zag faithful, many successfully traveled from Spokane WA for the epic event. Amidst future superstars Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren, I watched another lasting memory in my favorite experience, live sports.
