For the culmination of my Boy Scout Career, I planned, organized, and led the construction of a 350-foot split rail fence at a local community park. This required different levels of authorization from the troop committee, Eagle Scout advisor, and the park district to sign off on the project. I recruited over 30 friends, family, and scouts to make my project happen. With the help of everyone involved, it was incredibly successful. One hurdle happened on the first posts we put into the ground. I looked at it and said... that doesnt look right. We had put in 2 posts without the two crossbeams to connect the fence. With the help of a sledge-hammer, the rest of the project came together seamlessly. We completed the fence, finished lunch, and took this picture to remember this monumental moment in my life.
