The draft begins, and winning starts with a Victor. Can he just keep his feet under him???

Yep, that is a size 20.5 shoe (I happen to have the shoes on the right). Can you imagine the mittens on that guy???

Yep, that was the ball of the opening pitch at Yankee Stadium. You think he can dunk???

Yep, haha, that's pretty close. Lets just say, you would have to zoom out...

Victor Wembanyama literally looks like something we have never seen before. His flippers seem like they could walk on water. Defenses will have a lot on their hands. And the projections are cloudy, but I think it seems almost UNfair to say... if it starts to rain, he would be the first to know.
This physical freak launched a frenzy we haven't seen since Lebron 'The King' James, and that is saying something. When his plane hits the runway, the San Antonio Spurs will open their arms, and the franchise will try to wrap their minds around the future of this phenom. Yep, a lot of people are speculating potential, and it is obvious why.
Hailing from France, the Spurs fanbase started chanting "WEM V P", adding to the chorus of expectations from the sports community. The consensus is clear, this 19-year-old has been considered a generational talent. Towering above his competition, he has played in the French Professional Basketball League since he was 15. In his last season playing for the Metropolitans 92, he won league MVP, first team All-Pro, Best Defender, Best Scorer, Best Young Player, and Best Blocker. In the City of Love, I would say Victor swept them off their feet.
Modestly, Adrian Wojranowski described Vic as "the greatest prospect in the history of team sports." One said "He is a mix of sort of Magic Johnson, Steph Curry and Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with all that kind of comes with that." Generally, it sounds like he plays like a point guard and has the body of a center... that's quite the combo 😲 and I think all of us are eager to see what he can do.
So you have this kid, this prodigy, this UNICORN. That is the best description people can come up with, but you won't find him doodled on your 3rd daughter's art project. So I am excited to see what Pop is gonna do with him, because with this kind of project, I bet his pen hasn't left the clipboard.
Gregg Popovich has earned his reputation. Let's start with hardware:
5x NBA Champion
3x Coach of the Year
4x All Star Game Head Coach
2020 Olympic Gold Medal Head Coach
Enough said, but I'll say it again... YEP! He sweeps like his arm is a broom, his leg is a dustpan, he shits like a Swiffer Wet Jet, everything he does shines. Let's see who thrived under his tutelage...

On the court, he hit the lottery landing #1 picks David 'The Admiral' Robinson (relating his military experience) and Tim 'Mr Fundamental' Duncan. The Two Towers dominated the paint and drove Pop to his first title. Coach Pop then took the team international, signing superstars Manu Ginobili (Argentina) and Tony Parker (France). Over the border players like Boris Diaw, Marco Bellinelli, and Pau Gasol have blossomed under his light. He developed Kawhi Leonard into a faceted force, one of the most complete players in the league (when he plays). Other critical impacts included Sean Elliott, DeMar DeRozan, and Bruce Bowen. He even cultured The Menace, Dennis Rodman.
So he gets Wemby... what does he do?

I think it is safe to say, yep, Victor Wembenyama is in good hands, and once his foot hits the floor, the sky is the limit... he just happens to be closest.
